A friend of mine on Facebook asked me to share more of my container veggie garden in a group, but I thought you might like to see what else I get up to, besides camping.
The Container Garden began like most people's veggie expeditions have recently, at the start of lockdown when I had some time off... I already had PLENTY of seeds and some random pots; with a bag of veggie raising mix I planted out around 200 seeds in March. I have been adding to it since then and we are super excited about getting our first ever tomatoes at last! They are tiny, for now, but we can't wait to taste our first homegrown tomatoes.
I've spent the day chilling on the back verandah with the cat and getting some great photos and videos that show many of the herbs and vegetables we're growing. You can check out the video below.

We have plenty of fresh herbs for the kitchen whenever we want them and lettuce has been a favourite all growing season! Some veggies have been lost along the way... Including the snow peas. We have battled caterpillars and various other bugs, dogs, cats, kids and birds but the garden is still surviving!
The entire garden gets a fresh boost from my worm farm, if you watched the video you will have noticed it. The farm is built from grocery delivery crates and has been processing all our kitchen scraps plus all the coffee grinds from Hills Daily Grind coffee van for about 6 months. We have worked it into most of the new pots and beds in the last few weeks but still need to get around to adding some into some of the existing beds...

I'm hoping I will have another garden update filmed on the new camera I got some time soon... You may be able to see a few plants that are ready to be pulled out (I'm looking at you, Pak Choi), and the delivery of new pots from a friend means more room for plants. But more about that in another post! Make sure you subscribe to hear all about it.
